Ai at home.
Your Own Website. At Home.
Your Data. Under Your Control.
Take Back Digital Autonomy.
You Decide Who Accesses Your Content.
Local AI. Private Questions. Zero External Logging.
You are worth IT!
Big-tech platforms collect and analyse user data on a large scale. Stock markets show this information is worth a lot of money. The information is used to gain insight in the behaviour of customers and predict the future.
This information is sold to 'data-brokers' under broad user-agreement terms (with often different rules in other countries).
While many companies claim anonymization and aggregation, transparency remains limited, scrutiny is increasing, and privacy guarantees are uncertain.
Users pay (indirectly) with personal information (more information about this can be found for example on Forbes, Privacy Journal or Fee and about Commercial ISR).
The value of this information will probably increase in the future considering (for instance) the interest from health insurance companies and especially future a.i. developments. It remains guesswork who has access to this information currently, or in 10 years from now...
Would you prefer to store your photos, documents, and private communication on prem inside your home network instead of a remote cloud? Would you rather not hand over behavioral data, identity data, and personal content to commercial platforms?
If you want to use AI without sending your prompts to commercial clouds, you can run inference locally. This lets you analyze documents, generate code, or explore business questions internally—without exposing your intellectual property, strategic decisions, or customer data to third-party platforms.
I am looking for individuals who want to explore this approach. If you would like to discuss how to host a site at home, how to configure a secure Raspberry Pi or bare-metal micro-server, and how to operate outside the large social-media ecosystems, let us talk.
No obligation—just a technical and strategic conversation about autonomy.
Hosting AI at home (on your own hardware) has a few clear advantages, especially if you care about control and privacy. You can fine-tune models, adjust system behaviour, integrate with local tools, or automate home workflows without platform limits. No reliance on third-party policies, usage limits, censorship rules, or sudden service changes. After the initial hardware and setup costs, you avoid ongoing subscription or API fees—especially beneficial for frequent or heavy usage. Local AI works without an internet connection, which is useful during outages or in restricted environments.
So how to Manage all the Content you wish to selectively share on your System? Many organisations highlight Umbraco because it is flexible, intuitive, and enterprise-ready. Umbraco is a Content Management System (CMS) that offers scalability, security, and full editorial control without locking you into a proprietary ecosystem.
